How it started
A practical answer to a familiar problem.
In 2014, Onno Smits and Floris Wolswijk were looking for a quick meal that was also genuinely nutritious. They could not find one that felt right, so they began researching how to make it.
Queal was founded in August 2014. The early months were spent improving the first recipe, listening to early customers, and building the foundations for the business.
Today, we work with our team and partners to make complete meals more accessible and keep improving our recipes.
