For those of you who may not know, eSports (also known as electronic sports, esports, e-sports, competitive (video) gaming, professional (video) gaming, or pro gaming) is a form of competition that is facilitated by electronic systems, particularly video games. The input of players and teams, as well as the output of the eSports system, are mediated by human-computer interfaces. Most commonly, eSports take the form of organised, multiplayer video game competitions. The most common video game genres associated with eSports are real-strategy, fighting, first person shooter (FPS), and multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA).
Almost Perfect eSports Club was founded by Henrik ‘Pyloss’ Book, with the founding members being Torbjørn ‘HeltEn’ Næristorp and Mathias ‘MperorM’ Bonde. The group loved gaming, and originally wanted to bring their insane skills to bigger competition stomping grounds. Fast forward a bit, and they’ve got over 20 players competing at various tournaments all over!
At only 20 years old, Torbjørn (a.k.a “Helten”) already has four years playing experience under his belt. He is a frequently in the Top 100 Grandmaster ranked Terran players from Norway. Similarly, Mathias (a.k.a “MperorM”) has five years experience under his belt. At only 18 years old, he is a frequently in the Top 200 Grandmaster ranked Terran players from Denmark.
We here at APeC are a team with over 20 active Starcraft 2 players. Some of them are included in Top 200 players of the European Server. At the same time, we also have many Players in the Master league, who are building the community around the Team. Together we compete against other Teams in multiple Teamleagues with an A and B Team. Our main Roster is participating in many 1v1 Competitions such as qualifiers for offline events and weekly tournaments. The Team was founded in 2014 as a gaming clan, with a rebrand happening during 2016 to focus on a higher level of competition.
Our goal is to have our players advance further and further in high-profile competitions as well as to win titels together as a team. Another important target is to have fun with the game and the competition to grow as a team and as a community. Queal helps us to reach that in various ways. First it saves a lot of time for more practice, and it does that without the usual negative aspects of fast made food. It is also a save food to rely on when travelling to offline eSports Events, since you are only able to play up to your full potential with the right kind of energy.
And it’s pretty tasty too, after all!
