What Does a Queal Meal Cost? Portions, Shipping and Subscriptions
By Floris Wolswijk, CEO of Queal · Sources checked
The cost of a Queal meal depends on your portion, delivery country and purchase type. The comparison below uses the prices currently configured in our shop for one Steady flavour, with one-time and subscription options shown separately. Shipping is added at checkout.
We make Queal. This guide explains the calculation so you can compare it with the breakfast or lunch you would otherwise buy.
Current Steady prices for your country
Choose a delivery country to update the comparison. The initial selection follows the location available to our shop. If it is wrong, choose your country below. Prices refresh when you load or update the page.
This compares Awesome Apple Pie in both purchase modes. Other flavours, limited editions and bundles can have different prices. Country-only comparisons may not capture regional taxes or individual exemptions. Check the final order total before buying.
Start with a consistent portion
For a breakfast or lunch comparison, one meal needs a definition. The 400, 500 and 700 kcal amounts above are comparison units, rather than recommendations for how much anyone should eat.
We use the storefront’s nominal 2,100 kcal per Steady bag:
Portion cost = bag price × portion kcal ÷ 2,100 kcal
| Comparison amount | Equivalent portions per nominal bag |
|---|---|
| 400 kcal | 5.25 |
| 500 kcal | 4.20 |
| 700 kcal | 3.00 |
The price calculation keeps the full amount until the final currency rounding. The bag’s energy is a rounded comparison basis, so the results are estimates. For measuring powder, use the nutrition label for your flavour and recipe, and weigh it when precision matters. See the Steady recipe information.
Dividing a bag into five small portions is different from dividing it into exact 400 kcal equivalents. Keep the same portion basis across products when comparing prices.
Add delivery to the whole order
Shipping is charged per shipment, so its effect per portion depends on the order size and destination. The shipping FAQ explains the current country and weight bands; checkout supplies the exact charge for your basket.
Delivered portion cost = total amount payable ÷ total equivalent portions
For an order containing only Steady bags, divide the total nominal energy by your chosen comparison amount to find the equivalent portions. Include delivery, discounts, any equipment and ingredients you add in your total. For mixed orders, use each product’s own portion information.
A larger order only helps your budget if you will use it. Check delivery again after changing quantities or applying discounts, since an order may move across a shipping threshold.
Compare the purchase commitments
The subscription row uses the actual subscription product price for the same flavour. The displayed saving is calculated from that pair; it is not an assumed fixed percentage. Check minimum quantities, delivery interval, delivery charges and the recurring total before ordering.
Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Manage them through your account and pause or cancel before the next renewal order is processed. An already processed order is handled separately. Read the subscription terms.
The Taste Tester includes different flavours and equipment. Compare its current set price and delivered total separately; do not apply the per-bag subscription discount to it.

Decide what works for your everyday meal
Use the same portion basis for each option and compare what is included. A powder price excludes the preparation, washing up and any additions. A bought lunch may include delivery or a drink. Keep those differences visible.
Steady contains gluten and soy. May contain milk. Price is only one part of choosing a meal: check ingredients, the exact pack’s label and whether the flavour and routine work for you. Our meal-shake checklist includes a prompt you can use to research alternatives with your own AI assistant.
