Orders ship from our warehouse in Germany. The estimates below start when your parcel leaves the warehouse and are shown in working days. We normally send tracking by the next working day after your order is confirmed. If you have not received tracking within 48 hours, excluding weekends, check your Dashboard or contact support.

Delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees. Weekends, public holidays, customs and carrier delays can add time; when a weekend falls within the delivery window, allow up to two additional calendar days.
What are Queal’s shipping costs?
Shipping is calculated from your delivery country and the total shipment weight. Orders under €45 use the applicable small-order rate; orders of €45 or more use the applicable weight band. These prices include VAT and are rounded to the nearest euro. Checkout always shows the exact amount before you place the order.

Do you ship to packstations?
We ship to DHL packstations in Germany. We do not currently ship to packstations in other countries.
When is Queal Quarterly available?
Queal Quarterly is available from 20 March to 5 April, 20 June to 5 July, 20 September to 5 October, and 20 December to 5 January. Each order contains 40 bags: 120 large 700 kcal meals or about 210 small 400 kcal meals.

What is in the bag, and how it fits your day.
What is Queal made of?
The main ingredients are oats, vegan protein and soy flour, fortified with vitamins, minerals and flavouring. Ingredient lists and back labels are on the ingredients page.
View ingredients →How do I prepare Queal Steady?
- Mix about 350ml water with one third of a bag of Steady.
- Shake with the first-order shaker or blend.
- Enjoy. For the best taste, refrigerate for an hour or more if you like.
How long can I store Queal?
The best-before date is 18 months from production. Store Queal in a cool, dry and dark place. After opening, reseal the bag tightly; stored this way, it will keep for months, up to its best-before date. Once mixed, Queal keeps for several hours. For the best taste, we recommend drinking Steady within 30 minutes.
How many scoops do I need for one meal?
- Large meal
- 5 scoops / 165g with 350ml water · 706 kcal · 3 meals per bag
- Small meal
- 3 scoops / 99g with about 210ml water · 424 kcal · 5 meals per bag
Each Steady scoop is about 33g. For a precise portion, weigh the powder.
How often can I have Steady?
That is up to you. Customers use Queal to replace breakfast or lunch, and subscriptions can be adjusted each month.

Is there sulphur or chromium in Queal?
The oats and soy flour in our recipe provide sulphur. Steady contains 11.4µg of chromium per 165g serving, as listed in our nutrition table.
What type of soy flour do you use?
Full-fat, toasted soy flour.
Is Queal good for the environment?
We source most of our ingredients from the Netherlands or neighbouring countries. You can see your environmental impact in your personal Dashboard.

Is Queal vegetarian or vegan?
Steady, Ready and Flow are completely vegan. Steady uses fava bean, brown rice and pea proteins alongside soy flour. Ready uses pea and rice proteins and soy protein isolate.
What allergens are in Queal Steady?
Steady contains gluten and soy. Egg may be present in trace amounts because some components are processed in a factory that also processes egg; it is not an ingredient of Queal.

We do not expect the fibre in our products to cause changes in your stool, though the overall volume can be smaller because our meals are nutrient-dense. If you are concerned about a digestive change, seek appropriate medical advice.
What are the short- and long-term effects?
We do not expect side effects from our formula and are not aware of any negative long-term side effects. If you have a medical condition or a question about a dietary change, speak to an appropriate healthcare professional.
Is Queal GMO-free?
Yes. We do not use genetically modified ingredients.
What about Queal and diabetes?
Our meals have a glycaemic index of about 50. Talk to your physician before trying Queal if you have diabetes.
Is Queal produced safely?
Our production and fulfilment centres have the certificates needed for EU food-safety regulations, including BRC and IFS audits by DNV Business Assurance, with routine checks by the Dutch Food Safety Authority (NVWA).
Are there high levels of heavy metals in Queal?
We test our ingredients for compliance with EU maximum-contaminant regulations. We also carry out spot checks on incoming ingredients and quarterly spot checks on finished products.
